Sony Announces Music Video Service For PS3

Sony has announced a music video service called VidZone exclusively for the Playstation 3 which will be available sometime this summer. The service allows PS3 owners to access and download thousands of music videos absolutely free from what the company is calling the PlaystationStore. Video playlists can be created and each video can be downloaded directly to the PS3 game console.

For those of you wondering if these videos can be played on your portable PSP well the answer is yes. Video clips can be loaded on your Playstation Portable by streaming directly from your PS3 or simply from the PlaystationStore. VidZone will include music videos from major record companies and from smaller labels as well.
