SONY Planning To Launch 160GB PS3Saturday, February 02, 2008 Well, this might just be a rumor but Sony may launch a 120Gb and a 160Gb PS3 very soon. The new Playstation 3 will also have Dual-Shock 3 support, which has aroused interest amongst the community and gamers. The facts that support these rumors are that Sony has already started decreasing the production of the 80Gb Playstation, and slowly they will be removed from the market so that the people who are planning to buy a new Ps3, will have to go for 120Gb version if they want good storage. However, the 40Gb version will be retained and it will continue production and sales as the lowest available. Its a good move from Sony because 80GB was the best combination of price and storage but now people will have to go for 120Gb or a measly 40 GB. More good news is that the new PS3 120Gbs will be nearly the same price as the 80GB version and the 160Gb will cost a little more. Sony has made another good move in this regard, and are bound to sell a good number of consoles if the pricing is good. Powered by dBLOGGER |
