Xbox 360 merges with Windows MessengerSunday, April 08, 2007 Microsoft has plans to launch a new service on May 7 called Windows Live Messenger for the Xbox 360. This means that all gamers who use Xbox Live can now share and merge friends lists which means a lot of large Windows Messenger buddy lists could in fact get much larger.
The fascinating part of all this is that whether a user is on a Windows PC, a Windows Mobile device or the Microsoft Xbox 360 game console, they can now send instant messages to their friends, family and fellow gamers easier than ever. There has also been rumors that this summer Microsoft plans to release a new hardware device for the Xbox 360. The device will be a controller that includes your typical buttons as well as an addition of a text input device using QWERTY keyboard. This will make it much easier for gamers to type messages and will prevent having to hook up a USB keyboard. Powered by dBLOGGER |
