Twitter and Facebook Launched on Xbox 360 LiveTuesday, November 17, 2009 Back in June at the E3 conference Microsoft announced that last.fm, Facebook and twitter would soon become available for Xbox Live users. Well that day has finally arrived.
You should notice that all of these services are now integrated and available, once you've installed the latest Xbox 360 system update of course. Both Facebook and Twitter social networking applications can be found on your dashboard in a new My Community channel. For last.fm simply navigate to the Music Channel. However, some of you may not notice this latest update right away, but no need to panic because these updates will occur at different times depending on your location. The new Twitter client is quite simple and easy to use. Now you can see instant updates from followers, access post status updates as well as perform searches for the most recent and popular topics. With Facebook now integrated on your Xbox Live gaming console a cool new feature allows you to easily find friends of yours who are also part of the Xbox Live community. Of course you can always visit their blog to find out more. Powered by dBLOGGER |
